In order to join a group, you should get its invite code from the person who had created the group. On clicking this button, it will ask you for that invite code. If it was correct, then you should see the new group in your list of groups selector. Or you can refresh the page and then you will surely see it listed.
NOTE: Joining a group would consume some credits.
