The username that you use is only known to you. That is the one which is used to login. We strongly recommend that you not only should not share your password buy you should ALSO not share your username either. We never expose the username to anyone but you. This reduces the chance of anyone getting into your account. But then you need to be known by some name or the other, right?

When you get an account at We.Spoke.Today along with your username, we provide an alphanumeric code instead of an actual name. This can be seen in your account. Why a “code” for a name? So that you can keep your personal identity to yourself. In many cases, this can lead to good quality discussions as the content you write cannot be attributed to any one person – so people would be coaxed to look at your content, instead of who you are.

If you so wish, you can change this name to your own real name – or frankly, whatever name you choose. But this change can only be done once.
